This painting epitomizes this time of the year, and seems to be set while everyone is in bed.
The lights in the homes indicate that people are either winding down from a busy day, or preparing
for those days' adventures. In a few minutes, you can picture hundreds of people on skis and snow
shoes traveling around, and swooshing down the mountains of this Landscape Art St Anton.
All of the mountains in the distance and surrounding the village give the indication of the possibility
of similar scenes nestled in other nearby valleys. While some people may see this village as quaint
