So while Veny was there she was stunt with the beauty of the blue daisies,
one of many flowers, planted in the little garden in front of the ice cream house.
Daisies are quite common flowers here in Massachusetts and orange, red and white daisies are among the most preferred for weddings and bridals bouquets along
with roses. It is due to the fact that although daisies look quite fragile in fact they are very sturdy and can survive where other will not.
Blue daisies are different story. They are rather rare here around Boston. Since Veny is a curious person by a nature she had to ask one of the workers
on the farm where these magnificent blue daisies came from. A lady in her early sixties was told her what she knew about these exotic plants: They are
native from Africa and are called Cape Town Blue daisies.Their flowers
look more compact (only 1 inch) compared to its cousins the cheery white and yellow daisies that we're all familiar with. But the main reason they have
them at the farm was that the blue daisies are deer resistant.
Veny was very thanksful and took few pictures of these impressive bright blue petals and yellow centers. Later on when she was looking at the pictures from
the day trip she decided that one day she will create a flowers painting
of the blue daisies she fall in love with.
And there you are...few months later Veny have it finished, so one can enjoy these magnificent flowers all year round. Every time you Veny looks at the
"Blue Daisies" acrylic painting it reminds her for the beautiful day
spent at the park. One can close his eyes and feel the flowers aroma and envision butterflies and the working bees that seem to highly appreciate the nectar
of the blue petalls.
Despite their beauty Blue Daisies are not among
painters favorites subjects. This does not make them less touching or valuable when they are
depicted in a art paintings. Rare as flowers they seem to
be rare as art paintings so there is a first hand chance to own a this delightful
acrylic painting named "Blue Daisies". It is could serve either
